Kupe

Kupe: Kupe lives on an island called Hawaiiki with
his two daughters called Matiu,  Makaro. And a wife called Hine-te-Aparangi.

Kupe is a cunning man, but he is cunning but selfish . He is selfish because he drowned his cousin
to marry his wife even though he already had
a wife,  called Hine-te-Aparangi.
Image result for Kupe
He is not a good leader even if he fought off a
giant octopus by himself only using his mind
and his surroundings, he is selfish and greedy
he thinks only of himself before others, how rude!
A leader should  lead their team, not leave them.
A leader should be selfless not selfish.
You should be able to trust them with
your life and family.

He is also a bad person; he killed his cousin for
his wife. This is how he did it ( how he killed
his cousin ) one day him and his cousin went
fishing and Kupe ordered him to get the fishing
line then Kupe sliced through the anchor and  furiously rowed away onto the shore and ran away.  Kupes cousin's family was suspicious so Kupe went in Kura canoe and went to the sea that is where he met the giant octopus.
He was smart and made a plan to defeat the octopus, he dropped a dummy of himself in the
water so the octopus would chase the dummy instead of him, then when the octopus wrapped  his tentacles around the rock then Kupe hit the octopus’s head with a rock. When it was all clear he sailed around then found New Zealand. After exploring New Zealand he went back to Hawaiiki to tell all his friends.
