My favourite Summer learning posts! SUMMER LEARNING!

Hello this is my last summer learning post for this year! I have loved doing these posts and posting them onto my blog! To all of the Summer Learning Journey helper thank you for commenting on my blog giving me feedback and helping me grow as an learner and every way!

My favourite post my favourite post: SPCA charity poster  https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1-_LjpzHM4-Z8DoBRnIMmdi6Ucv3hTZsrfmTW8AUvFkk/edit because it was fun to make the poster with lots of bright colours!

My least Favourite post: Girl power because we already did something like this which was the who I look  up to, it is to much like it so I feel it is some what not fun!

Three thing I learnt: What the 40 hour famine is!, who many people were like Kelly Slater is a surfer!, who Annie Frank is!!

What could be better next year: I think that there is nothing wrong with it but if I had to chose I would chose that there could be more options!

I love doing the Summer Learning posts!

  2. Hello Salamasina,
Congratulations on finishing the entire Summer Learning Journey. You have accomplished such a big achievement. 60 activities, that is a lot of time and effort into finishing this amazing programme. I also really enjoyed the activity where you had to make the charity posters. I also really enjoyed creating the creative activities where you had to make a poster or something like that. Did you enjoy those activities? Once again I would like to congratulate you. This has been a phenomenal journey. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

  3. Kia Ora Salamasina,

You made it!! Congratulations Salamasina, you've officially completed the Summer Learning Journey! My, what a journey it's been for you. You must be just as proud as we are for finishing 60 activities. I've been so impressed with the incredible effort that you have been putting into your posts over these few weeks, and I'm happy that I will be able to go back and read your previous posts.

I'm ecstatic that you enjoyed the journey! It's been a pleasure commenting on your blog and seeing your amazing blog posts. Will you be doing the journey next year?

That's amazing that you've learnt so much! I personally also didn't know what the 20-40 hour famine was, but from just reading posts alone I learnt a lot. I think it's an absolutely extraordinary experience and opportunity, do you agree? Anne Frank is such an interesting person and I even read her book! Have you ever read it?

This summer, the activities were about people who changed the world. I feel it's an amazing topic and you can learn so much about famous New Zealanders. Do you think it was an amazing choice?

Your SPCA post is amazing and I'm not surprised you enjoyed it a lot.

Once more, congratulations Salamasina! I'm so proud of all the effort you have put into your posts. Now that you've finished, you can go ahead and comment on other peoples blog to encourage them through their journey too! Have a happy and safe holiday :)

  4. Tālofa Lava Salamasina,

Congratulations and well done on making it to the lucky last activity of the Summer Learning Journey for this Summer. You should be very proud of all your hard work and effort you have put in over the last couple of weeks.

I am so glad to hear that you have really enjoyed doing the programme this year and really hope that you will want to stay on with us next summer we would really enjoy having you on for another summer. Thank you also for sharing some of the things you have learned from doing the programme this year and also some of the feedback you have for us.

In order to complete the programme you will need to respond to each one of the 3 activities per day, at this point you have completed one activity for each day but you’ll need to do the other two to complete this programme. I am very sorry if the instructions for this weren’t clear and if that’s the case is something we can also improve in the future.

You have plenty of time to do this as the programme doesn’t finish until next Friday the 25th of January. I really hope that you will want to carry on and complete some more activities and I will also be here to comment on more of your blog posts too!
